The cottage owners typically take waste home in sealed containers. If you generate a lot of garbage, you may use the Sprucedale Dump.
🐻 Wildlife Warning
Raccoons, opossums, foxes, and bears inhabit this area.
- Garbage may be stored in the shed only, in undamaged bags
- Meat, fish, and grease must remain frozen until disposal to avoid attracting wildlife
🗝️ Dump Pass
The magnetic access card hangs on the "Moose" key rack near the kitchen.
💳 Replacement fee: $25 if lost — please keep it safe!

📍 About 15–20 minutes from the cottage
Directions
- Take Muskoka Road #2 toward Sprucedale
- Continue into Sprucedale town
- Turn right at the stop sign onto Highway 518
- Drive approximately 5 minutes — look for the yellow gate on your right
